Greetings my loyal minions, Maxx Fisher here

Well so far I am 2 for 2. Will my streak continue? Will I end up getting egg on my face? Will you all come to hate me because I have lead you down a foolish path? We shall see.

It’s week three so someone actually gets sent home this week. Shocking. At Redemption Island we have a duel between Weepy Wordsmith Semhar and Catty Caustic Christine. Honestly, do I even need to say who comes out victorious? Do I really? It’s Christine. Isn’t it obvious to everyone else? It’s not that I think Christine is some sort of powerhouse, it’s just that Semhar is…well Semhar. Alas we will no longer be seeing her spit mad fire at least not until Probst asks her for a poem at the reunion.

The Immunity(/Reward?) challenge takes place in the water, but does not involving swimming. The Survivors are pulled out to retrieve puzzle pieces on boogie/surf boards. From what I hear, and this part is strictly a RUMOR because I do not have confirmation…yet, there are no competitions that involve swimming. Yes, some are in the water, but no actual swimming. I want to repeat that this is unconfirmed and as soon as I know for sure, I will let you all know. The idea of no swimming challenges troubles me. You are on islands with beautiful beaches, some of your best challenges have been swimming ones and you invited back Ozzy “Aquaman” Lusth, so why no swimming. I don’t really get it.

In this episode the pendulum swings back and it’s Savaii that is defeated and forced to return to Tribal Council. And the survivor being sent home this week is:

Mark "Papa Bear" Caruso

It seems Papa Bear kind of loses his mind and makes up some story about the Immunity Idol. What this means exactly, I don’t know. I imagine he tells someone that has the idol, that either he himself has it or that someone else has it, thus getting caught in a lie. Which it seems he did a lot on the island. I don’t know how much of it is going to be shown in the episode, but apparently he is fond of telling white lies when the mood strikes. Nothing that would make anyone hate him or anything, he appears to be one of these people that just lies when having a conversation. I knew a lot of people like this when I was briefly in the CIA.

Someone to keep an eye on: Coach. When I found out he was going to be on this season I expected him to be the first or second person voted out. But he seems to be using his wily ways to stick around. But why wouldn’t you want to keep him around. He plays with honor & integrity, right? I wonder what Edna would say about that. Surely I’m not implying anything. I mean she was the first person to befriend Coach when everyone else dismissed him, so their bond must be as strong as granite. Maybe strong as chalk? Perhaps paper? The Dragon Slayer is firmly in the camp of “Bros before hos”. He is going to do her dirty and you heard it here first.

I leave you with, my dirty, dirty liars, this season is going to be a wild ride. There are some…things that are going to happen this season that are going to either blow your mind, or make you punch a baby. I’m fine with either. But it’s going to be a wild ride.
